0.80 carat pretty waterlike rough diamond dodecahedron
Type of Stone : Diamond
Shape : Dodecahedron
Carats : 0.80
Measurements : 4.97 x 4.23 x 4.68mm
Color : E-F/SI (Near colorless with slight inclusions)
Description : This is such a pretty rough diamond - we love this water droplet like shape because it means it was formed (and now looks like) water! The stone has a very clean and clear center, with a bit of color that concentrates on its edges. There are some very slight inclusions that are concentrated, also, near the edges (so would be easily cut out if this were to be cut, but it's not). The inclusions are mostly black or gray, but there's a tiny orange one, too!
Source : DTC (the Diamond Trading Company), we are quite certain it is from South Africa but new provenance claim rules from the DTC require that we state it is from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana or Canada
Certifications : This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
