Description: Beautifully slightly off centered yet still proportional raw diamond dodecahedron. This stone looks like it was sandblasted and given a satiny finish by the earth during its formation. It has surface texture with gentle lines on it that provide white light and a bit of sparkle. The stone has a nice roundish shape, with one angular window at the top. The stone carries light in white, gold and silver. Internally there are specks of ancient matter trapped beneath on one side while the rest of the stone is clean and clear. This is an excellent specimen of a rough diamond and will look clean and classic and unique in any ring setting.
Source: DTC (the Diamond Trading Company), we are quite certain it is from South Africa but new provenance claim rules from the DTC require that we state it is from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana or Canada.
Certifications: This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
