Description : This is an oblong octahedral raw diamond with some of the most amazing markings to be found in rough diamonds. First, the surface is nice and smooth save for a couple of indentations in a perfectly triangular shape - these are called trigons - and they are rare and unique to the surface of raw diamonds. These tiny trigons are what give texture to the otherwise smooth surface of the stone, and cause sparkle. Internally, there are splashes of matter that are artfully scattered amongst the stone. The stone is mostly clear, and the wisps of matter from millions of years ago look like the work of ancient wizardry. Of course, it was just the earth that created this amazing stone, but we can appreciate it however we like! This stone has nice terminations (corners) that aren't too sharp, and it also has a slightly flatter structure that will sit nicely on the hand.

At these mines there is no child labor, no slave labor, no mining in national parks, the communities and environment around the mines are protected, and workers are paid a fair wage.
Certifications : This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
