This ring features a gorgeous 1.00 carat rough diamond at its center. This raw diamond is an octahedral shape which is the most architectural of all the natural shapes of raw diamonds. It is colorless and has no visible inclusions. The rough diamond is set between two emerald-cut apricot sapphires that we traced from mine to market. The band is created in 14k yellow gold and is a delicate 1.25mm in width. We call this the Keren ring because "Keren" means beam of light in Hebrew, and we see this ring as being just that - full of light and beaming.
A note about the sourcing:
The diamond at the center of this ring was sourced in its rough form through a siteholder, and therefore we are able to trace it to its country of origin (South Africa). It was then cut and polished in a modern facility by a master diamond cutter in Ramat Gan, Israel. The sapphires are completely natural and untreated. We sourced them in their rough form from our partner artisanal mine in Sri Lanka, and then we cut them on premises at the mine with a local master sapphire cutter.
