Description : What an awesome stone this one is. We categorized it as an octahedron, but it is actually a double octahedron - where two octahedral crystals formed fused together, one smaller than the other. The effect is amazing, and it allows this stone to have a very unique structure. For some reason, at precisely the mark where the two stones are fused, there are a series of triangles naturally etched into the diamond and it's remarkable. At one angle, the structure of the diamond appears as four nested triangular peaks. This is simply amazing, and we think this stone is spectacular and perfect for a very unique and fancy piece of raw diamond jewelry.

Source : DTC (the Diamond Trading Company) which has modern, well overseen mines in Namibia, South Africa, Botswana and Canada. At these mines there is no child labor, no slave labor, no mining in national parks, the communities and environment around the mines are protected, and workers are paid a fair wage.

Certifications : This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
