Description: This is an interesting and stunning piece. At different angles, the structure of this stone appears to be either octahedron - like a stacked pyramid shape - or like a dodecahedron - which has diamond shaped "windows" on its surface. So, the surfaces of this stone are both triangular and diamond shaped, giving this stone an almost magical appearance. It is almost perfectly clean with one small wisp-like inclusion on one edge that will be covered most likely when set, though it could be set in a manner that the tiny inclusion is laid bare - for intrigue. The surface of the stone has geometric lines on it, gently outlining the shape of the windows themselves. This provides a multidimensionality to the appearance of the diamond - giving it shine and sparkle as well. Description: This is such a classy and beautiful dodecahedral raw diamond. The stone is nicely proportional, but also a little tiny bit disproportionate in just the right way, so that it is obvious it was formed by the earth. The stone has an obvious center window that would face upward, and the lines on that surface are vertical, meanwhile, on the windows that connect with the center window, the surface lines are horizontal, and the effect is as if it was sketched so that each surface would stand alone but also come together in a magnificent and unique tapestry of diamond that is extremely pleasing to the eye. From this stone you can see my passion for raw diamonds. This one, though it is colorless and clean and clear throughout, holds the light with an ever so golden shine and the effect is out of this world.

The interior is clean and clear with a few wisps of trapped matter from it formation, and the stone has a slightly offset but architectural lok to it giving it yet another unique aspect. The Magen ring is a rough diamond solitaire engagement ring that is set in a totally unique way. The diamond is placed in a custom-created criss-cross basket setting to securely hold it but also to showcase the absolutely uniqueness of the rough diamond and its nontraditional look. We chose the name Magen for this ring because in Hebrew it means "shield". The design looks like a diamond studded shield of shiny gold protecting its inner raw diamond. Along the criss-cross are small cut diamond melee and you can choose whether or not to include diamonds on the top half of the band.

This is the Glacier raw diamond band, and it is a beauty.

ABOUT THE DESIGN

The inspiration for the design of this ring came from a recent visit to Glacier National Park. One early morning, just as the sun was rising at the Two Medicine campground, we walked to the edge of the lake to gaze at the spectacular surroundings. The water was perfectly still and clear, and the smooth multicolored stones that lay beneath were illuminated by the soft light in the sky. This ring represents the stones laying at the base of that glacial lake, illuminated as they were, and with a sheen of clear water spread translucently over them.

HOW THIS RING SUPPORTS THE EARTH

For every purchase of this raw diamond band, we will donate 10% of the proceeds to the Glacier National Park Conservancy.

Glacier National Park is one of the most spectacular natural places to visit in the world today. It is home to incredible plant and animal life, mind blowing views and hikes, but of all the wonders, the most unique is the ability to still see the last glacier in the US - Many Glacier. This glacier will have disappeared by the year 2030, so you should go check it out!

Glacier National Park is a wonderful example of how stewardship of the land and conservation efforts have led to wildlife being renewed on national lands. ABOUT THE RING

The Glacier raw diamond band is a smooth and comfortable, stacking band that is created using an advanced technique where the raw diamonds are cast directly into the gold. This band is extremely versatile - it can be used as a wedding band, as a stacking band, or as a standalone band. The rough diamonds on the band are bright white, brilliant, shiny and all copletely unique shapes. Each band has 6-7 rough diamonds, averaging a total carat weight of approximately .80 carats.

You can choose a few different options, based on your preferences - the gold color (rose, white or yellow), and whether or not the band has a slight U-shape in order to contour another ring. Please note that the width of the band can range from 3.5-4.25mm depending on the stones placed within it.

A note about the source:

We sourced the sapphires as rough directly from our partner mine in Sri Lanka. It is an artisanal family-owned and operated mine that adheres to the highest labor and environmental standards in Sri Lanka. We sourced this rough diamond through a siteholder in Ramat Gan, Israel and therefore we are able to trace it directly to the mine in South Africa. 

The Hila ring is a rough diamond halo ring with conflict-free melee surrounding the center rough diamond on a simple high polish band. The contrast between the two types of diamonds in this ring is both complementary and intriguing. This particular ring looks excellent with unique rough diamonds as the center stone because we love the contrast between the cut and rough diamonds. The smooth high-shine band is extremely lightweight and wears very comfortably and elegantly. The prongs are naturally hand-shaped to grasp the center stone in a way fitting the uniqueness of the diamond. Description : This is our first ever rectangular diamond on inventory. This is an intriguing rough diamond. The crystalline structure actually appears to have naturally welded two triangles to one another - which would be a much more natural crystalline structure for a rough diamond, but makes a rectangle possible. The stone is super clear through its center, but if you flip the stone on its side, you will see a seam of carbon running from one end to the other, perfectly centered. This will not be visible from the top of the setting, but rather if you were to turn your hand to the side and it was set in a ring with prongs It's very cool, and looks like the seams created by volcanic activity in rock formations today.

The Stav is a three-stone raw diamond and rough gemstone engagement ring with a conflict-free diamond channel band. The way the three main stones is set is natural and unique and contrasts beautifully against the sparkly cut diamonds that surround the band. We named this ring Stav, which in Hebrew means autumn, because we feel that it has the multicolored and rustic effect of falling leaves in the angled white autumn sunshine. Description: Bright white octahedral rough diamond with beautiful concentric triangle surface patterning through the stone. The surface patterning adds sparkle and extra refraction of the light source. Within the stone, it's very clear and has one inclusion that is awesome to look at. The inclusion is a ring of carbon compounds that was trapped within the diamond during formation. From some angles it looks like a point, and from one particular angle it appears as a square, perfectly centered with one of the points of the octahedron jutting out from it. It's a lovely and interesting stone, both architectural, but also a bit earthy, while also being the brightest white a stone can possibly be.

Description: This diamond is so colorless that its color almost seems unearthly, as if we could name a whole new color out of perfect shiny and light filled perfection. In any case, this diamond has many of the aspects that we think make a perfect diamond for a very high quality raw diamond ring - it has an amazing and interesting structure, with different sized smooth faces in each direction with nice lines that catch and refract light in all directions, it has a very clear interior that allows you to see directly through the center of the stone, it has some matter trapped from creation in its center that is laid bare due to the incredible quality of the piece, the matter is flecked carbon compounds that were trapped millions of years ago beneath the earth's crust as the diamond was just being formed - the carbon compounds supposedly came from a star from a foreign galaxy that crashed into earth, so really, when you wear this stone, you are wearing stardust, or even you are wearing a microcosm of the entire universe.

The Ezaria Ring is created from two hammered gold bands that join at the base of the ring. The bands separate until they reach the top, where they are held together by a rough diamond bridging one side to the other. "Ezaria" means helper in Hebrew, and the design serves as a reminder that we are helpers to one another in life.

The Ruah ring is a custom engagement ring with a raw diamond, the design inspired by nature. Within this ring we see the flow and the many aspects of nature such as earth, wind and sky. It is completely handmade from start to finish each time it is created. The six prongs contour the diamond perfectly to accentuate the natural curve of the stone. The band is textured with a hammered matte finish. The shape of the band is a comfort fit, so it wears extremely well and comfortably. The images for the ring are in platinum, but it is available in 18k gold as well. The ring is most suited as a rough diamond engagement ring, but would also be lovely with a sapphire.

Description: Beautiful, otherworldly rough diamond octahedron. This stone has smooth terminations and lines that grace the stone in each direction reaching from point to point ever so gently. We see a trigon at the center of one of the "windows" which is always a find on a smooth rough diamond like this. The coloring is excellent. This stone comes off as sophisticated, gentle, smooth and unique.

Source: DTC (the Diamond Trading Company), we are quite certain it is from South Africa but new provenance claim rules from the DTC require that we state it is from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana or Canada

Certifications: This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.

The Shana ring is a rough diamond ring that is made to showcase its center stone with classic and unique grace. The band is a 2mm square shaped band with a slightly brushed surface. The center stone is held by four delicate handmade prongs that are uniquely shaped according to the stone set in the ring. We chose the name of this ring - which means 'year' in Hebrew - because we see this ring as representing the cyclic quality of life, and how we keep coming back to certain things or people or experiences along our journey. The ring is very comfortable and can be worn daily.

The Sal ring is a double pronged ring that encases the raw diamond in an ethereal basket-like architecture. The band has a naturally contoured hammering. The word Sal means "basket" in Hebrew, and we named this ring because it looks like this very seemingly mundane object that has so many significant and beautiful purposes. This ring design works lovely with larger or colored stones because it ever so slightly adds a small amount of ornateness to the basic diamond or sapphire. This ring works excellently with both rough diamonds and cut sapphires. We've done both, and as you can see from the photos, they all look stunning. This is a very comfortable ring and it also has the added benefit of holding the stone extremely securely because of the two prongs.
