1.3 carat sophisticated and architectural raw diamond octahedron

Description: I can't say enough good things about this gorgeous octahedron. This rough diamond has a seriously sophisticated and non-rough look to it - but don't be misled, this diamond is 100% natural and created by the earth without any human intervention. The stone is a bit oblong, but the angles are centered perfectly so that it has a very proportional look to it. The stone is clean and clear and bright with tiny trigons on some of the surfaces. One termination contains trapped matter from formation millions of years ago. This termination could be laid bare to show off its natural formation, or it could be covered with a prong or set downwards so that the stone appears to be perfect.

Source: DTC (the Diamond Trading Company), we are quite certain it is from South Africa but new provenance claim rules from the DTC require that we state it is from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana or Canada. 

Certifications: This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
