1.35 carat classic champagne-colored rough diamond dodecahedron
Type of Stone : Diamond
Shape : Dodecahedron
Carats : 1.35
Measurements : 6.26 x 5.10 x 4.39mm
Color : Champagne
Description : This raw diamond is a classic (for a rough diamond!), clean, and smooth piece. The shape is dodecahedral and the smoothness indicates that it was alluvial (shaped by water) at some point in its formation, making it look a bit like a water droplet as well. It has gorgeous lines and is full of light. The color concentrates strongly on the edges while the center of the rough diamond is more white. The stone has a small inclusion on one edge that can be laid bare or covered easily with a prong or other setting. The rest of the diamond is perfectly clean.
Source : DTC (the Diamond Trading Company), we are quite certain it is from South Africa but new provenance claim rules from the DTC require that we state it is from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana or Canada
Certifications : This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
