1.78 carat gray cognac triangular raw diamond
Type of Stone : Diamond
Shape : Triangle
Carats : 1.78
Measurements : 6.48 x 7.00 x 3.91mm
Color : Gray and cognac
Description : This triangular shaped raw diamond has a unique coloring to it - in some angles it appears silver gray and in others it has a more cognac or light brownish hue. It is very shiny, sizeable and has a nice flatness that will sit well on a ring. The other cool thing about this stone is it has many hidden trigons on its surface. Trigons are tiny triangular shaped crystalline structures that appear to be etched into the surface of a rough diamond, we loves these as they're a unique mark of a rough diamond that no other minerals carry.
Source : DTC (the Diamond Trading Company), we are quite certain it is from South Africa but new provenance claim rules from the DTC require that we state it is from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana or Canada
Certifications : This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
