Description: This is an interesting and stunning piece. At different angles, the structure of this stone appears to be either octahedron - like a stacked pyramid shape - or like a dodecahedron - which has diamond shaped "windows" on its surface. So, the surfaces of this stone are both triangular and diamond shaped, giving this stone an almost magical appearance. It is almost perfectly clean with one small wisp-like inclusion on one edge that will be covered most likely when set, though it could be set in a manner that the tiny inclusion is laid bare - for intrigue. The surface of the stone has geometric lines on it, gently outlining the shape of the windows themselves. This provides a multidimensionality to the appearance of the diamond - giving it shine and sparkle as well. This will set beautifully no matter which way you choose to set it, and as a rough diamond on its own it's a very special specimen.

This type of octahedron always seems to have "diamond experts" tell us that they were cut by human hands to look like this, and we find ourselves trying to explain to them that this is the natural shape of raw diamonds and that the earth created them just so. The perfection of the windows and the proportionality of the stone really confuses gemologists who don't have a lot of experience with rough. You may, when wearing this stone, come across the same conversation with others. This beautiful piece you can be absolutely assured, was cut by the earth alone - grown just as is and taken from the earth in this clean, clear, beautiful way. The windows on this stone are nice and clear, giving you vision into the center of the stone which is clean and clear with some microscopic wisps near the surface if you're looking with a loupe, of course. This will set like a classic octahedron, similar to the ones you see in many of our styles on our site. Though it is "classic" it is still completely unique - no other rough diamond will ever be the same as this one.

This stone has trigons on its surfaces that are ever so delicately naturally grown into the crystal there. Description: Luminous, proportional, clear and bright rough diamond octahedron. This one is a nice size and carries the light beautifully. Another spectacular aspect to this diamond is its architecture - each "window" is a triangle that allows you to peer into the center of the stone. The triangles have a natural frame around their edges, which is a slight crystalline structure that is really a concentric triangle at every corner.There is only one white seam in the center of the stone, otherwise it is clean and clear and without blemishes. Description: Lovely and interestingly shaped octahedron with one dodecahedral side. This raw diamond has a unique depth to it since it has a very clean and clear aspect but also a slight lemon-lime undertone that adds intrigue. The light it gives off is truly white, and the interior of the stone is also a bright white, it is the exterior that holds the faint coloring. The interior is clean and clear with a few wisps of trapped matter from it formation, and the stone has a slightly offset but architectural lok to it giving it yet another unique aspect. It's a beautiful piece and will look amazing on the hand.

Description: Bright white octahedral rough diamond with beautiful concentric triangle surface patterning through the stone. The surface patterning adds sparkle and extra refraction of the light source. Within the stone, it's very clear and has one inclusion that is awesome to look at. The inclusion is a ring of carbon compounds that was trapped within the diamond during formation. From some angles it looks like a point, and from one particular angle it appears as a square, perfectly centered with one of the points of the octahedron jutting out from it. It's a lovely and interesting stone, both architectural, but also a bit earthy, while also being the brightest white a stone can possibly be.

Description: Beautiful, otherworldly rough diamond octahedron. This stone has smooth terminations and lines that grace the stone in each direction reaching from point to point ever so gently. We see a trigon at the center of one of the "windows" which is always a find on a smooth rough diamond like this. The coloring is excellent. This stone comes off as sophisticated, gentle, smooth and unique.
