Returns, Repairs and Consignment

REPAIRS

All The Raw Stone jewelry comes with a one-year warranty from the date a customer receives an item. The warranty covers manufacturing defects at no cost to the customer. Common jewelry issues that are not considered a manufacturing defect (and therefore would require a client to pay for The Raw Stone repairs):

  • Gemstones and/or diamonds cracked or lost due to misuse, carelessness, or normal wear and tear
  • Metal bent out of shape by active lifestyle or specific activity or accident (heavy lifting, etc.)
  • Discoloration of metal caused by perfume, makeup, lotion, chlorine, and/or any other chemical immersion
  • Metal/ring prongs wearing down over time due to regular use

If a jeweler other than The Raw Stone resizes, repairs, or works on jewelry you buy from us, our warranty becomes void.

HOW TO SHIP YOUR THE RAW STONE ITEM BACK TO US
Please carefully follow this checklist.

  • Contact The Raw Stone at info@therawstone.com prior to shipping your item.
  • The Raw Stone will ask you to send photos of your piece and to fill out a form detailing your repair needs
  • If the issue is deemed by The Raw Stone to be a manufacturing defect, then The Raw Stone will send you a prepaid shipping label for return. Otherwise, The Raw Stone will ask you to return the item to us using your own preferred shipping method.
  • Print out the form provided by our team for repairs/returns/resizing and include a printout in your package. All returns, exchanges, resizing, and repairs must include our returns and exchanges form in the package.
  • All jewelry must be sent through a trackable shipping method with your name included on the label to the below address:

We only repair jewelry made by The Raw Stone. If your piece needs to be repaired, please contact our sales team at info@therawstone.com to discuss the work. We’ll review costs and the repair process and timeline before you deliver your piece to us.

RETURNS 

Returns must be made within 7 days of receipt of your stones.

In the return, please include:

  • The stones in their original packaging in their original condition
  • A brief reason for your return
  • A copy of your invoice or your sales receipt or invoice number
  • Your email address used to make the purchase

Upon receipt of the above, we will check the returned stones to see if they are in the same condition they were when we sent them to you, and that everything is in its original packaging. If so, we will return 100% of the cost of the returned stones, not including the shipping costs incurred to us and credit card processing fees.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OF CUSTOM-DESIGNED, CUSTOM-CUT OR CUSTOM-SOURCED STONES OR JEWELRY.

CONSIGNMENT

The Raw Stone, at its discretion, will occasionally lend stones out on memo to select wholesale customers. Memo items must be returned within 10 business days.

In the return of memo items, please include:

  • The stones in their original packaging in their original condition
  • A brief reason for your return
  • A copy of your invoice or your sales receipt or invoice number
  • Your email address used to make the purchase

In this case, we are happy to return the stones to you in the same condition and packaging that you returned them to us.
