Description : This is one of those waterlike raw diamonds that we love to talk about. It was clearly formed alluvially (or in water), and that is why it is so smooth and shiny like water! This diamond is very very clear and has a lot of light to it. The proportions are nice and just slightly offset so that it looks classic and perfect on the one hand, but a little bit imperfect on the other. We love this type of contrast, it makes it look like a rough diamond even though it is so perfect.
Source : DTC (the Diamond Trading Company), we are quite certain it is from South Africa but new provenance claim rules from the DTC require that we state it is from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana or Canada
Certifications : This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
