Description : This cool geometrical and oblong rough diamond at first glance appears shiny and sparkly and bright white (which is what you want for a ring!), but then on closer inspection is actually an amazing specimen. It has a series of maccles - triangular shaped diamonds - that are fused together naturally. If you look closely, you can see 5 of these triangles fused, and the result is remarkable! So not only is this raw diamond just a stunning piece for a ring, but it also has a very interesting and rare aspect to it. Oh, and it's very flat, which will set nicely in any setting and not stick up too high from the band.
Source : DTC (the Diamond Trading Company), we are quite certain it is from South Africa but new provenance claim rules from the DTC require that we state it is from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana or Canada
Certifications : This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
