1.27 carat amazing clean and clear rough diamond octahedron
- Unit Price
Type of Stone: Diamond
Color: F-G with a slight green-silver undertone
Description: This is an amazing rough diamond specimen! First of all, it's clean and clear and excellently colored beneath the surface of the stone, meaning this stone holds a lot of value. On the surface of the stone, we see amazing crystalline patterning resulting in tiny surface patterns of trigons (or triangles) that are seemingly etched into the diamond. The angles and lines on this stone are perfect and not too sharp which will make it look amazing when it's set in a ring. It's shiny and bright, and because the interior is so clean and clear and white, it refracts a ton of clean light.
Source: DTC (the Diamond Trading Company), we are quite certain it is from South Africa but new provenance claim rules from the DTC require that we state it is from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana or Canada.
Certifications: This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
