Description : If you've come upon this stone then you'll have to excuse this aside :) When I started The Raw Stone, my goal was just to bring a little more light into the world. I didn't know how I would do that or if I could. I realize as I'm describing each of these stones that I talk about the type of light they emit or hold, and that seems to me to be one of the most important aspects of rough diamonds. As a true piece of the universe's creation from deep inside the earth, this perfect little piece of diamond can hold and refract so much light. We hope we bring light to the world in other ways too, but for the here and now, I wanted to say that this stone holds some pretty awesome light. It shimmers on its surface, and has an internal gleam that is otherworldly. The shape is freeform, but not too much, a bit round, in fact. The stone is very clear with only slight wispy inclusions that you can see through a loupe or magnifying glass. What's special about this is its light!
