1.67 carat sparkly and proportionate octahedron rough diamond
Type of Stone : Diamond
Shape : Octahedron
Carats : 1.67
Measurements : 7.13 x 6.91 x 5.96mm
Color : E-F, or extremely white
Description : Gorgeous and nicely structured octahedron with gentle surface patterning giving it some sparkle and multidimensionality. The stone has an amazing silver and white light that emanates from it, though this stone is a high D-E rating in color. Internally there is a bit of wispy matter that was trapped in this diamond from its creation beneath the earth's mantle many millions of ears ago. This would be sliced off if this beautiful and clear diamond were to be cut, but in its rough form, it is left bare for us to see its natural markings. It's such a beautiful, natural and fancy stone.
Source : DTC (the Diamond Trading Company), we are quite certain it is from South Africa but new provenance claim rules from the DTC require that we state it is from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana or Canada.
Certifications : This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
