Description: At first glance, this stone looks like an octahedron from its general shape, but don't be misled - it's actually a rhombododecahedron. It's almost like an octahedron with too many faces! Anyway, it's very cool for crystalline structure nerds like us. It's an very clean and clear raw diamond with nice smooth faces that allow you to peer into the stone. There is a bit of an almost brushed look to the surface of the stone which allows it to hold light on the surface and shine bright white. It's very round and gemmy, it's going to look beautiful in any setting.

Source: DTC (the Diamond Trading Company), we are quite certain it is from South Africa but new provenance claim rules from the DTC require that we state it is from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana or Canada.

Certifications: This stone was traded between borders completely in keeping with the Kimberley Process and is therefore conflict-free and does not finance violence by rebel groups seeking to undermine legitimate governments anywhere on earth.
